Proposed changes to USCIS filing fees

USCIS has proposed a significant increase in filing fees for immigration documents.  In order to avoid the fee increase, file your immigration documents as soon as possible.  

Here are some sample increases:
Petition for Alien Relative Current fee: $420 Proposed Fee: $535

Application for Travel Document (Advanced Parole) Current fee: $360 Proposed Fee: $575

Application to Register/Adjust Status (Become a permanent resident) Current fee: $985 Proposed Fee: $1140

Application for Employment Authorization (Work Permit)  Current fee: $380 Proposed Fee: $410

Application for Naturalization (U.S. Citizenship) Current fee: $595 Proposed Fee: $640
